Wes Wilson called me and wanted me to go over to Jerry's house before they left on a road trip.  He needed a group picture for a poster.  When I got there, Jerry and the boys were higher than all get out, they could hardly walk!  They laughed when I asked them to poise for the photo and down the street they went laughing thier asses off and giving me the finger.  It made me so mad I went to my studio and drew the bears to depict Jerry and the gang, and this picture is of my original drawing, This got ruined in the Missouri flood, but we had pictures.  

When Owsley came by to deliver the acid for us to sell, he noticed the picture and asked about it. When I told him the reason, he asked if he could have it. When I told him no, he took his camara and took a picture of it.  I had no idea what he was doing until i saw the bears of Jerry' s new album cover when I was in Viet Nam.  Pissed me off, but could do nothing about it.

I am printing this picture on heavy canvas it would make good conversation. $49
